  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. almond extract
  • brown sugar
  • cinnamon
  • nuts

Directions

    Cut prunes into pieces, discarding pits and set aside.

    Cream margarine and sugar until light.

    Add eggs, beating well after each addition.

    Toss flour, baking powder and salt into the mix. Add vanilla, almond and milk, alternating additions.

    Fold in prunes to distribute evenly.
