  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. granulated sugar
  • 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 (3.9 oz) pkg. instant vanilla pudding (dry)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 (12oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 c. nuts (optional)

Directions

    Mix flour and baking soda. In separate bowl, combine softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, pudding mix and vanilla. Beat until smooth and creamy.

    Beat in eggs.

    Gradually add flour mixture until blended. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.

    Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
