Pudding-Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 2 1/4 c. plain flour
  • 1/4 c. granulated sugar
  • 3/4 c. light brown sugar
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 small instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 c. butter (soft)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. nuts, chopped

Directions

    Combine butter, sugars, pudding mix and vanilla in a large bowl.

    Beat until smooth and creamy.

    Beat in eggs.

    Gradually add flour and baking soda.

    Mix well.

    Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.

    Batter will be stiff.

    Drop by teaspoon on ungreased baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.

    Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes. Yields about 7 dozen.
