- 1 lb. beef
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
- 2 Tbsp. water or wine
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. fresh ginger, finely chopped
- 4 medium green onions, coarsely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 2 tsp. Accent (optional)
Directions

1Cut the beef into thin slices about 3 inches square by 1/8-inch thick.

2This can be done at the butcher's shop.

3Marinate the beef in remaining ingredients for up to 1 1/2 hours. Traditionally, this meat is broiled at the table on a Korean pulgogi grill over charcoal, gas ring or hot plate.

4Otherwise, use a frying pan or oven-broiler.
