  • 1 1/4 lb. halibut or perch fillets
  • 2 c. water
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. celery salt
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 small onion or 1 Tbsp. onion flakes
  • 1 stick melted margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice

Directions

    Bring 2 cups of water to a boil.

    Add salt, pepper, celery salt, vinegar and chopped onion to the water.

    Cut fish into bite size pieces.

    Add fish to the boiling water and cook gently for 25 minutes, uncovered.

    Serve with melted margarine and lemon juice for dipping.
