- 1 whole Medium Onion
- 5 pounds Pork Shoulder/pork Butt
- 2 cups Ketchup
- 1 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 5 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 5 Tablespoons Yellow Mustard
- 1 Tablespoon Paprika
- 6 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 2 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
- 2 teaspoons Salt
- 2 teaspoons Pepper
Directions

1Throw chopped onion in the bottom of a large crock pot, lay pork on top.

2Whisk together remaining ingredients.

3Taste.

4Does it need more vinegar?

5More cayenne pepper?

7Adjust seasonings to taste, then pour 2/3 of the sauce over the pork in the crock.

8Cook on low heat for 8 10 hours or until pork shreds easily with a fork.

9Once pork is shredded (shred while keeping it in the crockpot), you can add remaining sauce, if necessary.

10I like my pork to be saucy...if you dont, you can pass the remaining sauce around with the pork when you serve it.

11Just make sure that the pulled pork stays moist.

12Serve on a bun with sliced dill pickles and coleslaw.
