  • 1 16-ounce package phyllo dough
  • 1/2 large can pumpkin puree
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 pinch clove
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 3/4 cup sugar
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 1/4 cups water

Directions

    Add water, sugar and honey to a medium-sized saucepan and bring the mixture to boil over medium heat.

    Allow to simmer for 15 minutes.

    Add the lemon juice and and turn the heat off.
