Ingredients

  • 4 eggs, beaten well
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. canned pumpkin
  • 1 c. salad oil
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. each: ginger, cloves and nutmeg

    Sift together last 5 ingredients.

    Grease and flour a jelly roll pan (10 1/2 x 15 x 1-inch).

    Set oven at 325°.

    Mix eggs, sugar, pumpkin and oil.

    Add sifted dry ingredients and mix well. Pour into prepared pan and bake 30 minutes or until done.

    Do not overbake!

    Cool, frost and cut.

    These freeze well frosted or not.
