  • 4 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 cups cooked, pureed pumpkin
  • 1 cup water
  • 5 cups white flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda

  • 1.5 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup whole raw almonds
  • 1 cup chopped dates

    stir in pumpkin (you can use canned pumpkin puree) and water. Stir together until well mixed.
