- 1 (29 oz.) can pumpkin
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. cloves
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 3 eggs
- 1 (18.2 oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix
- 1 c. walnuts, chopped
- 3/4 c. butter-margarine, melted
Directions

1In a medium bowl, combine pumpkin, sugar, evaporated milk, spices and eggs.

2Pour into a 9 x 13-inch lightly greased baking pan.

3Sprinkle dry cake mix over mixture.

4Top with chopped walnuts, patting topping down.

5Pour melted butter over all.

6Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

7Allow to cool in pan for 10 minutes; invert cake onto a platter.

8Cool before frosting.
