  • 1 (29 ounce) can pumpkin (NOT WITH ADDED SPICES)
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 12 cups sugar
  • 2 cups evaporated milk
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 12 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (18 ounce) box yellow cake mix
  • 12 cup butter, softened

Directions

    Mix pumpkin, eggs, evaporated milk, sugar, spices, and salt in bowl.

    Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Cut softened butter into cake mix with pastry cutter until mixture is crumbly.

    Sprinkle over pumpkin in pan.

    Bake 1 hour at 350F.

    When cool, cut into squares and refrigerate.

    Garnish each square with a dollop of whipped cream before serving.
