  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 2/3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 3 c. cooked pumpkin
  • 3 c. milk
  • butter like a walnut
  • beaten egg whites
  • nuts
  • baked pie shell

Directions

    Mix first 10 ingredients and cook until thick.

    Fold in beaten egg whites.

    Pour into pie shell.

    Sprinkle nuts on top.

    Bake at 425° for 10 minutes and 400°

    for 30 minutes.

    To use as pudding, omit pie shell.
