  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. pumpkin
  • 1/4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 c. Carnation milk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cook together sugar, pumpkin, cornstarch, spice and milk until mixture forms a soft ball in cold water or reaches 235°.

    Do not stir while cooking; add vanilla.

    Stir together and cool in ice water to 110°.

    Beat until smooth or it loses its gloss.
  5. 5
    Pour on buttered plates and cut into small squares when nearly cool.
