  • 3/4 cups Cornmeal
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 3/4 Tablespoons Baking Powder
  • 3/4 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 whole Egg, Beaten
  • 1/2 cups Applesauce
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 3/4 cups Pumpkin Puree
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1/4 cups Honey For Drizzling

    Preheat oven to 425°F.

    Sift together cornmeal, flour, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg until foamy. Add in applesauce, milk, pumpkin puree, vanilla, and melted butter. Mix together. Once combined, add in flour mixture. Pour batter into a well-greased 8x8 glass bowl. Drizzle honey over the top the cornmeal batter. Bake for 20 minutes. Serve warm with butter and any extra honey.
