  • 3 c. flour (all-purpose)
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. cloves
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. corn oil (no substitutes)
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. pumpkin
  • 1 c. chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
  • 1/2 c. raisins

Directions

    Mix together corn oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla.

    Add flour mixture, pumpkin, chopped nuts and raisins.

    Bake in three (1 pound) coffee cans, greased and floured.

    Bake 1 hour in 350° oven.

    Delicious served with cream cheese-pineapple spread.
