- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1 cup of sugar
- 2 large beaten eggs
- 1/4 cup of orange juice
- 1 cup fresh cooked or canned pumpkin
- 1 2/3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin spice
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup raisins
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350.

2Grease one 9 x 5 or 5 3/4 x 3 1/2 inch loaf pans.

3In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar.

4Add eggs, orange juice, and pumpkin.

5Beat until light.

6Combine flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, and pumpkin pie spice in another bowl.

7Stir dry ingredients into pumpkin mixture.

8Stir in walnuts and raisins.

9Pour into prepared loaves.

10Bake 55 to 60 minutes for large loaf or 35 to 40 minutes for small loaves.
