  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 2/3 c. milk
  • 2 c. mashed, cooked pumpkin
  • 2 pie shells

Directions

    Sift dry ingredients together and stir into eggs.

    Add milk and pumpkin.

    Pour filling into pie shells.

    Bake in very hot oven (450°) 10 minutes.

    Reduce temperature to slow (325°) and bake 35 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool.
