- 2 c. cooked or canned pumpkin
- 1 1/2 c. evaporated milk or cream
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg or allspice
- 1/8 tsp. cloves
- 2 slightly beaten eggs
Directions

1Line a 9-inch pie pan with dough.

2Mix until well blended all ingredients.

3Pour into pie shell.

4Bake 15 minutes at 425°. Reduce heat to 350° and bake about 45 minutes longer, until an inserted knife comes out clean.

5I make a strip of aluminum foil to cover the edge of pie crust.

6It keeps it from getting too brown. Beat a half pint of whipping cream with 1/4 cup of sugar in a glass bowl until stiff for topping.
