- 1 1/2 c. prepared pumpkin
- 2/3 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. milk
Directions

1Steam or bake fresh pumpkin and put it through a sieve. Canned pumpkin is ready to use.

2Add remaining ingredients in the order given.

3Pour into a crust-lined pan and bake.

4Use a high temperature at first (450°) to cook the bottom and sides of crust. Reduce the temperature and continue cooking at 325°
-
5until a silver knife inserted in the center will come out clean.

6Do not let the pie boil as that will make it watery.
