- 1 baked 9-inch pie crust
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. gelatin
- 1/3 c. water
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 3/4 c. custard pumpkin
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/3 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 3/4 tsp. nutmeg
Directions

1Soak gelatin in cold water.

2Separate eggs.

3Beat yolks slightly; add 3/4 cup sugar, pumpkin, milk, salt and spices.

4Put in double boiler and cook and stir until mixture thickens.

5Stir in soaked gelatin until it is dissolved.

6Cool.

7Whip egg whites with 1/3 teaspoon salt until stiff, beating in the remainder (3/4 cup) sugar.

8When pumpkin begins to set, fold in egg white mixture.

9Fill pie crust.

10Chill.

11Serve with whipped cream.
