- 1 3/4 c. mashed cooked pumpkin (may be canned)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 3/4 c. milk
- 3 eggs or 4 yolks
- 2/3 c. brown sugar, packed
- 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
- 1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. cloves
Directions

1Make pastry for 1 crust pie.

2Line pie pan.

3Pour into pie pan.

4(For crispness, have bottom pastry a little thicker than 1/8-inch.)

5Bake just until a silver knife inserted 1-inch from side of filling comes out clean.

6The center may still look soft, but will set later.

7Serve slightly warm or cold.

8Bake at 425° (hot oven).

9Bake 45 to 55 minutes.
