  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell (frozen or homemade)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 can pumpkin
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 (12 fluid oz.) can evaporated milk

    Preheat oven to 425°.

    Beat eggs in a large bowl.

    Stir in remaining ingredients in order given.

    Pour in pie shell.

    Bake for 15 or 20 minutes at 425°.

    Reduce temperature to 350°.

    Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

    Cool on wire rack.
