  • 1 12 cups canned pumpkin
  • 34 cup sugar
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 1 18 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 12 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 14 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 34 cup milk
  • 23 cup evaporated milk
  • 9 inches unbaked pastry shells
  • 12 cup whipped cream, for decoration* (optional)

Directions

    Preheat oven to 400F Combine pumpkin, salt, sugar and spices.

    Blend in the eggs, milk, and evaporated milk.Pour into pastry shell.

    Bake for 50 minutes, or until a sharp knife inserted halfway between the center and edge comes out clean.

    Cool.
