  • 1 1/2 cups pumpkin
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 3 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 recipe unbaked 9 inch pie crust

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

    In a medium bowl, mix together the pumpkin, sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and nutmeg.

    Blend in the eggs, milk and evaporated milk.

    Pour the mixture into the pie crust.

    Bake in the preheated oven 50 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
