- 6 c. strong chicken stock
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3/4 c. scallions or green onions
- 1 can pumpkin (about 2 1/2 c.)
- 2 c. half and half milk and cream
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp. lemon pepper
- 1 c. heavy cream, whipped and salted
- minced green onion tops
Directions

1Bring stock to a boil.

2Add onions or scallions.

3Simmer until tender.

4Combine with pumpkin and whirl well in blender. Will be several batches.
