- 2 tsp. butter
- 1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin or 2 c. cooked, mashed pumpkin
- 3 c. milk
- 2 tsp. instant chicken bouillon granules
- 1/8 tsp. ground allspice
- croutons
Directions

1In a saucepan, melt butter or margarine. Stir in pumpkin. Stir in milk, chicken bouillon granules, allspice and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Bring mixture to boil, stirring constantly.

2Pour soup into individual soup bowls.

3Top each serving with the croutons. Makes 4 servings.
