- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. salad oil
- 3 eggs
- 2 c. pumpkin
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp. ground cloves
Directions

1Combine sugar and oil, blending well; add eggs and beat until light and creamy.

2Stir in pumpkin.

3Combine remaining ingredients; add to creamed mixture and beat until well blended. Pour into 3 greased and floured 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 5/8-inch loaf pans (or two 9-inch loaf pans).

4Bake at 325°

5for 1 hour or until lightly browned.

6Cool 15 minutes in pans; remove from pans and cool completely on rack.

7Bread freezes very well.
