Pumpkin with Walnuts

- 1 small pumpkin (2 lbs)
- 1 cup shelled walnuts
- 13 cup sugar
Directions

1Slice the pumpkin in half and remove the stringy fibers and seeds.

2Peel and cut the pumpkin into chunks about 1x2 inches.

3Boil in salted water until tender, about 12-15 minutes.

4Finely grind the walnuts with the sugar.

5Place the pumpkin pieces in a bowl and mash to break them up slightly, but still chunky Stir in walnut-sugar mixture.
