- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 lb. cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 can (14-1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (2 lb.) refried beans
- 1 can (4 oz.) green chile peppers
Directions

1Melt butter in heavy saucepan.

2Stir in butter until well blended.

3Add milk and cook on medium heat until warm.

4Add cheese a quarter at a time and stir frequently.

5When cheese is all melted, add final three ingredients.

6Continue to cook and stir until it is heated through and ingredients are well blended.

7Serve with tortilla chips.
