Ingredients

  • 1 lb. bacon, sausage or shrimp, etc.
  • 1 c. shredded natural Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 c. minced onion
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c. cream (whipping or light)
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. sugar
  • 1/3 tsp. cayenne red pepper
  • 1 deep dish pie shell

Directions

    Fry bacon and chip into pieces; place on bottom of pie shell. Top with shredded cheeses and minced onion.

    Mix eggs, cream, salt, sugar and pepper together.

    Pour over cheeses in pie shell. Bake at 425° for 15 minutes.

    Then reduce heat to 300° and bake for 30 minutes.

    Allow to cool for 15 minutes.
