- 2 (9-inch) deep dish pie shells
- 10 oz. half and half
- 5 oz. butter, melted
- 6 oz. grated Swiss cheese
- 1 medium green bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1 white medium onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 lb. plus bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 medium can or jar mushrooms (uncooked), drained and finely chopped
- 5 eggs and 1 egg white
Directions

1Mix in bowl the butter, half and half and eggs.

2Add salt and pepper. Blend with beater until fully mixed.

3Add to egg mixture the cheese, green pepper, bacon, onion and mushrooms.

4Mix with a large spoon until well blended.

5Divide between two uncooked pie shells.

6Cook at 375° for 45 minutes or until crust is brown.
