Ingredients

  • 1 deep dish pie shell
  • 6 1/2 oz. tuna, broccoli, crab or shrimp
  • 1 1/2 c. grated mild Cheddar/Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice (with seafood only)
  • 1 tsp. chives (optional)
  • dash of black pepper
  • 3/4 tsp. garlic powder (optional)

Directions

    Preheat oven to 450°.

    Bake pie shell for 5 to 7 minutes. Distribute tuna, crab, shrimp or broccoli evenly on bottom of pie shell.

    Sprinkle cheese and onion over tuna (etc.).

    Beat eggs; add milk and mix; pour over tuna (etc.) mixture.

    Sprinkle cheese on top.

    Bake at 450° for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350° and bake 12 to 15 minutes more until top is golden.
