  • 8 slices bacon or 1 lb. imitation crabmeat
  • 1 2/3 c. half and half milk
  • 2 c. shredded sharp cheese
  • 5 eggs
  • pie crust

Directions

    Beat eggs and half and half until blended.

    Stir in cheese. Crumble bacon on bottom of pie crust or lay crabmeat . Pour egg, milk and cheese mixture over top.

    Mushrooms may be added. Preheat oven to 375°.

    Bake quiche about 45 to 50 minutes, until pie shell is brown and filling firm.

    Let set up about 10 minutes before slicing.
