  • 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. shredded swiss cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. minced, sauteed onion
  • 1/8 tsp.nutmeg
  • dash of cayenne
  • 1 deep dish pie shell
  • 1 c. light cream

Directions

    Sprinkle bacon, cheese, and onion in bottom of pie shell. Beat together eggs, cream and seasonings and pour over mixture into shell.

    Bake in preheated 425° oven for 15 minutes on bottom shelf.

    Reduce heat to 325° and continue baking 25-35 minutes or until center is set.

    Let stand for ten minutes before cutting.
