- 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 c. shredded swiss cheese
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. minced, sauteed onion
- 1/8 tsp.nutmeg
- dash of cayenne
- 1 deep dish pie shell
- 1 c. light cream
Directions

1Sprinkle bacon, cheese, and onion in bottom of pie shell. Beat together eggs, cream and seasonings and pour over mixture into shell.

2Bake in preheated 425° oven for 15 minutes on bottom shelf.

3Reduce heat to 325° and continue baking 25-35 minutes or until center is set.

4Let stand for ten minutes before cutting.
