- 1/2 lb. bacon
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- pinch of pepper
- pinch of nutmeg
- 1/4 c. grated Swiss cheese
Directions

1Cut bacon into bite-size pieces after frying and draining on a paper towel.

2Spread on bottom of pie shell.

3Beat eggs, cream and seasonings just enough to blend.

4Stir in cheese; pour into pie shell.

5Bake at 375° about 35 minutes, or until pie shell is golden brown and filling is firm.

6Serves 4 as an entree.
