- 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded natural Swiss cheese
- 1/3 c. minced onion
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. half and half
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. red cayenne
Directions

1Heat oven to 425°.

2Prepare pastry for 9-inch pie pan. Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in pastry-lined pie pan.

3Blend remaining ingredients.

4Pour into pie pan.

5Bake 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 300°.

6Bake 30 minutes longer or until knife inserted 1-inch from edge comes out clean.

7Let pie stand 10 minutes before cutting.
