- 6 eggs
- 1 1/4 c. half and half or milk
- 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 8 slices bacon, crisp, cooked, drained and crumbled
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Line unbaked shell with 12-inch square of aluminum foil.

2Fill with rice or dried beans or peas.

3Cover rim of shell with edges of foil.

4Bake in preheated oven at 450°

5until lightly browned at edges, 10 to 15 minutes.

6Lift out foil and rice.

7Cool on wire rack.
