- 1 pie crust
- 10 to 12 slices cooked bacon, drained and crumbled
- 1 1/4 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 3 large eggs
- 1 1/2 to 2 c. half and half
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Saute onion in butter until soft.

2Place prepared bacon, cheese and onion in pastry shell.

3Beat eggs and cream together. Season with salt, nutmeg and pepper.

4Pour liquid mixture over bacon mixture.

5Bake quiche in preheated 375° oven for 25 to 30 minutes.

6Cool approximately 10 minutes.
