- 1 (9-inch) deep pie shell
- 6 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. mushrooms, sliced
- 1 c. diced Swiss cheese
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp. chopped pimento
Directions

1Saute onion and mushrooms in bacon fat.

2Spread cheese, onion, mushrooms and bacon evenly in pie shell.

3Mix other ingredients. Pour into pie shell.

4Bake at 450° for 15 minutes.

5Lower temperature to 350°.

6Bake until knife will come out clean.
