- 6 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. milk or half and half
- 1 Tbsp. dehydrated onion
- salt (if desired)
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- pepper
- 1/2 c. chopped ham or bacon bits
- 1/2 c. shredded Swiss or Cheddar cheese
- 9-inch pie dish or quiche shell
Directions

1Distribute ham and cheese evenly in the bottom of the pie shell; set aside.

2Mix eggs and milk in a bowl with a wire whisk until thoroughly blended.

3Add spices and mix again.

4Place pie shell on oven rack and pour custard over to prevent spilling.

5Bake at 375° for 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

6Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

7Serves 4 to 6 people.
