- 1 c. shredded cheese (Cheddar or Swiss)
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. milk or whipping cream
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne red pepper
Directions

1Heat oven to 425°.

3Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in pastry-lined pie pan.

4Beat eggs slightly; beat in remaining ingredients.

7Reduce oven temperature to 300° and bake 30 minutes longer or until knife inserted 1-inch from edge comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
