  • 1 (9-inch) deep pie shell
  • 12 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
  • 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/3 c. minced onion
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c. light cream (20% or half and half)
  • 1/4 tsp. each: salt and sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper

    Heat oven to 425°.

    Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in pie shell.

    Beat eggs slightly.

    Beat in remaining ingredients; pour cream mixture into pie shell.

    Reduce oven to 300°; bake 30 minutes longer.
