- pastry for 1 (9-inch) pie crust
- 12 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
- 1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. cream (light or heavy)
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. paprika
Directions

1Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion on pie shell.

2Beat eggs slightly.

3Beat in remaining salt, pepper and paprika.

4Pour cream into egg mixture and pour all into pie shell.

5Bake, uncovered, in a 425° oven for 15 minutes.

6Reduce oven to 300°.

7Bake uncovered until knife comes out clean, about 30 minutes.

8Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
