- 1/2 lb. bacon
- 1/4 lb. Swiss cheese
- 3 raw eggs
- 1 pt. half and half
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/16 tsp. pepper
- 1/16 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1 (8-inch) pie crust
Directions

1Fry bacon until crisp.

2Drain and crumble into pie crust. Arrange Swiss cheese over bacon.

3Beat eggs in bowl slightly with rotary beater; add half and half, salt and pepper.

4Blend together.

5Pour ingredients over bacon and cheese in pie crust. Bake in moderately hot 400° oven for approximately 40 minutes.

6Do not overbake.

7Remove while center still appears soft and allow to cool slightly before cutting.
