  • 1/2 lb. bacon
  • 1/4 lb. Swiss cheese
  • 3 raw eggs
  • 1 pt. half and half
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/16 tsp. pepper
  • 1/16 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 (8-inch) pie crust

Directions

    Fry bacon until crisp.

    Drain and crumble into pie crust. Arrange Swiss cheese over bacon.

    Beat eggs in bowl slightly with rotary beater; add half and half, salt and pepper.

    Blend together.

    Pour ingredients over bacon and cheese in pie crust. Bake in moderately hot 400° oven for approximately 40 minutes.

    Do not overbake.

    Remove while center still appears soft and allow to cool slightly before cutting.
