  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
  • 4 slices bacon, fried crisp and then chopped
  • 1/4 medium onion, chopped and sauteed
  • 1 c. grated cheese, Cheddar or Swiss
  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 c. milk
  • mushrooms

Directions

    Cover bottom of baking dish with bacon, onion and cheese. Cover with eggs and milk mixture.

    Bake in middle of oven at 350° for 40 minutes.
