- 1 pastry for 9-inch single crust
- 12 slices crispy crumbled bacon
- 1 c. shredded Swiss cheese (4 oz. natural cheese)
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. whipped or half and half cream
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne red pepper
Directions

1Heat oven to 425°.

2Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion on pastry lined pie pan.

3Beat eggs and blend in remaining ingredients. Pour onto pie pan on top of first 3 ingredients.

4Bake 15 minutes, then reduce oven to 300° and bake 30 minutes longer or until knife comes out clean.

5Let pie stand 10 minutes before serving.

6Makes 6 main dish slices.
