  • 8 slices crisp, fried bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • dash of each: pepper and cayenne pepper

Directions

    Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion over bottom of pie shell. Combine eggs, milk and seasonings in a bowl; beat well.

    Pour over bacon, cheese and onion.

    Bake at 425° for 15 minutes.

    Reduce temperature to 300° and bake for 30 additional minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

    Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
