- 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
- 1/2 c. bacon bits
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2In medium mixing bowl, combine Cheddar and Swiss; sprinkle half of mixture into pie shell.

3Sprinkle in bacon bits, then cover with remaining cheese mixture.

4In small mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, onion powder and black pepper; beat thoroughly.

5Pour over cheese; sprinkle with nutmeg.

6Bake 40 to 45 minutes until firm and toothpick (when inserted) comes out clean.

7Cool 5 minutes, then cut into pie shaped slices.
