Ingredients

  • 1 c. long grain rice
  • 4 chicken breasts or a cut up chicken
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • 1 c. white wine or sherry (could be optional)
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup

Directions

    Put rice in bottom of casserole dish.

    Add chicken; mix rest of ingredients well and pour over chicken and rice.

    Cover.

    Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours; remove cover for 20 minutes.

    Bake until brown and tender.

    Test for doneness; may take less time.
