  • 2 2/3 c. flaked coconut
  • 2/3 c. unsweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix coconut, milk and vanilla in large bowl.

    Drop by teaspoonfuls, about 1-inch apart, onto well-greased cookie sheets, pressing down ends of coconut with back of spoon.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheets.

    Top with almonds or maraschino cherries, if desired.

    Cool on wire racks.

    Yields 4 dozen.
